The CN-15 is a fully automatic CNC controlled hopper fed production lathe which as well can have our sanding belt attachment and two tool holders for sharp profile tools. Additional option of an 8 station cutter head for drilling etc is available to replace the sanding unit.Maximum working diameter is 300mm and lengths of either 1500mm or 2000mm with auto feed up to 150x150mm square sections. The main cutting tool is made up of a combined set of TCT saw type milling blade which revolves at much lower speeds than conventional practice and with the optional sanding attachment, pieces are finished ready for lacquering or staining straight off the machine without further preparation. Speeds are also variable to suit most species of both Hardwood and Softwood. With a further option of fluting or spiralling pieces on the same machine without transferring to another lathe or other type of machine, including 4, 6, and 8 sided work - versatility is the nature of this machine especially for short runs, although the machine is perfectly suitable for continual working for high production.
